Terms and conditions

1. Who we are and what TrukGo is

TrukGo is a technology platform that connects carriers offering freight transport services with businesses and individuals who need to move goods within Peru.

TrukGo is not a transport company. It does not provide the transport service and does not own vehicles: it facilitates contact, price agreement and trip records between the parties, who contract directly with each other.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By registering and using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the platform.

3. Requirements to use the platform

To register you must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Depending on the role you operate under, additional documentation will be requested:

• Carriers: identity document, a valid driving licence in the relevant category, and vehicle documentation (insurance and registration).
• Businesses shipping freight: identity document and, where receipts must be issued, a tax identification number.

You are responsible for ensuring the information and documents you provide are truthful and current.

4. How contracting between the parties works

1. The business posts a load specifying origin, destination, characteristics of the goods and a reference price.
2. Carriers submit offers for that load.
3. The business accepts one of the offers received.
4. On acceptance, an agreement is formed between the business and the carrier at the offered price.

TrukGo is not a party to that agreement. Its role is limited to facilitating contact and recording the agreed conditions, the tracking and the ratings.

5. Prices and commissions

The price of the transport service is the one agreed by the parties through the platform. The commission TrukGo charges for use of the service is shown explicitly inside the app before any trip is confirmed.

6. User obligations

You undertake to:

• Provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
• Honour the agreements you reach with the other party through the platform.
• Comply with the transport, traffic and tax regulations applicable to you.
• Not use the platform for unlawful activities or to transport goods whose movement is prohibited or restricted without the relevant authorisation.
• Not impersonate third parties or manipulate the rating system.

7. Liability

Liability for the goods, their loading, transport and delivery lies with the parties who agree the trip, in accordance with what they have agreed and with applicable transport regulations.

TrukGo is responsible for the proper functioning of the platform under the terms set out in applicable law, but not for breaches committed by users against each other.

8. Ratings and reputation

At the end of each trip both parties may rate each other. Ratings are visible on profiles and form part of how the marketplace works. Manipulating or conditioning them is not permitted.

9. Suspension and cancellation of accounts

We may suspend or cancel an account that breaches these terms, provides false documentation, or engages in conduct that harms other users or the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by following the procedure described in Delete your account.

10. Data protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by our privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may amend these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app with reasonable notice. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Peruvian law.
